SCOUTS CANADA – Various Positions Available

Scout Leader:  Work with youth ages 11-14 to help them become well rounded, using the outdoors as their classroom. Interest in pursuing outdoor activities, leadership skills and organizational skills an asset. Community resources can be used to teach skills that are not held within the leadership team. Cub Scout Leader:  Work with boys and girls ages 8-10 to help them become well rounded, using the outdoors as their classroom.  Outdoor skills, first aid training is an asset.  Time commitment is 2 hours per week, plus occasional weekends. Each volunteer must complete Scouts Canada training course (online or in person). Beaver Scout Leaders:  Volunteers interested in working with 5 – 7 year old boys and girls.  Knowledge of songs, games, crafts, and the outdoors is an asset.  Time commitment is two hours per week plus occasional weekends.
