NANAIMO BRAIN INJURY SOCIETY – Peer Support Volunteer

Hospital Peer Visitation volunteers meet patients and their friends and family in rehab areas, inpatient units and other support areas through NRGH. Volunteers must have an acquired brain injury and be able to commit to the program for 6 months. This volunteer must be at least 21 years old and have the ability to maintain client confidentiality. A reliable and friendly person is required who is available for a 2-hour shift on the same day each week.  Training and supervision will be provided.
