NANAIMO FOODSHARE – Older Adults Eating Well Together: Peer-to-Peer Healthy Eating Program

Nanaimo Foodshare is looking for volunteers to attend training to be a healthy eating peer mentor in the community.  Once trained, volunteers can provide support to others one to one, host food related workshops or advocate for healthy eating in the community. Active older adults (age 55+) are needed, passionate about food, nutrition and community. An RCMP Security check is required and is paid for by the agency.
