Disaster Management Community Volunteer (BC Coastal)
Volunteer
needed to work in communities to link Canadian Red Cross resources to people
before, during and after a disaster.
A commitment of 2 – 4 hours per week is required, and Disaster
Management Training is provided.
A criminal record cheque is required, paid for by the Canadian Red Cross.

Landscaper
This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for an experienced, retired
landscaper to assist in the development of a social enterprise.
Orientation provided, could provide first-aid training. Criminal

Kitchen Server and Board Members
This Society is looking for Volunteer Kitchen/Server help
and Board Members. The 7-10 Club Breakfast and Bag Lunch Program
operates from

needed to prepare campaign maps for the Unit, update area and zone maps,
prepare and identify walk maps, prepare a master file, update Campaign
Chair, attend relevant workshops, become familiar with “where the money
goes”, etc. Ability to read
maps, and good knowledge of community, and Canvasser experience preferred.

required for one day per week, from September to April, with knowledge of
swimming skills and how to teach the progressions.

intellectual disabilities. This
