Nanaimo Disability Resource Centre requires a volunteer to greet walk-in clients, answer phones, take messages, provide information/referrrals and process Parking Permit applications. This position is for 3 hours per week from 12:30 – 3:30 PM; Friday preferred. Due to the training needed, a time commitment of 6 months is required. COVID 19 safety measures have been put in place to prevent the spread of COVID 19 and ensure the safety of volunteers, staff and the public. All training is provided, and there will be support staff nearby for help. A volunteer for this position must speak English fluently, have the ability to multi-task, answer phones and have basic computer knowledge.
