MARCH OF DIMES CANADA – Aphasia Peer Connect Volunteer

The Aphasia Peer Connect Volunteer facilitates online discussions and conversations between clients by learning and applying virtual supportive communication strategies.  Volunteers work in collaboration with a MODC/After Stroke BC Program lead.  Strong interpersonal and communications skills required, reliable, understanding, collaborative and respectful volunteers are required.  An RCMP Security Check is required and is paid for by the agency.
