VANCOUVER ISLAND EXHIBITION Board of Directors

The Vancouver Island Exhibition requires 3 Directors to make decisions on the day-to-day operations of the Association.  Volunteers for these positions must be able to attend 2 Board meetings per month as well as weekly meetings in July and August prior to the start of the annual Fair.  The Fair is held each year on the last weekend of August. Each Director would accept the responsibilities of completing his/her assigned duties and would have the authority to exercise his/her control in the assigned area; these areas will be assigned after the Annual General meeting.  Volunteers for these positions would also participate in the setup and takedown of the fair.

Volunteers for these roles must be organized, work well individually and as part of a team, have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, have basic computer skills, strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with the public.
