The Hospice Shoppe Thrift Store is looking for a volunteer to do small appliance testing, cleaning and repair. Other duties would be sorting metal and clearing recyclables, flattening cardboard boxes and taking out garbage. Shifts are 9AM to 1PM and 1PM to 4:30 PM. A patient and friendly manner, good communication skills and a basic knowledge of electrical appliances and tools are required. Standing for long periods and some heavy lifting may also be required.
