Eden Gardens is a Dementia care home. They are looking for a charismatic and outgoing volunteer to assist in the gift shop. Duties would be greeting and welcoming visitors to the gift shop, assisting with sales, checking in and pricing new items, checking inventory and ordering supplies. A volunteer with excellent customer service and communication skills, compassion and sensitivity to the needs of residents, staff and visitors is required. This volunteer must observe confidentiality of residents, staff and visitors. Retail experience would be an asset.
