ElderDog provides free services to seniors who need help looking after their dogs so they can remain in a family. ElderDog periodically need a foster home for a dog while its senior owner is in hospital or recuperating from and injury or illness. Placements can be for days or weeks. Requirements: experience with dogs and patience and understanding; some dogs may be quite anxious settling into a temporary home. An adult person should be present at home for most or all the time.
