The Kiwanis Village Horticultural Therapy Program cares for 5 different garden areas for the residents of the Village. Through the summer months, they are looking for support with watering, general plant care and 1:1 visits with the residents in the garden spaces. The Horticultural Therapist is at Kiwanis each Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and would be there to support and offer tasks to the garden volunteers. Volunteers must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, to bend and do watering with a light hose. A sense of initiative is required. Kind volunteers who are open to spending time with the Kiwanis residents in the garden spaces are needed.
