Nanaimo Lifeline is seeking volunteers to perform equipment installations, troubleshoot, and make equipment replacements in our client’s homes. This role is perfect for someone a little techy, who is great with older clients. Nanaimo Lifeline pays for your mileage. Time commitment is 2-4 hours per week, Monday to Friday; they would consider weekends if that works best for you. A friendly, patient and helpful attitude is required, as well as the abilities to work hardware equipment and handle troubleshooting. An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency. For more information, please contact Chelsea: ph. 250-739-5770 or via email: Chelsea.carne@islandhealth.ca.
