Registration desk
The Fair has 60+ exhibitors, health talks, door prizes, etc. The Fair takes place at the Beban Park Social Centre at 2300 Bowen Road in Nanaimo. They require volunteers to run the registration desk. There is no fee to attend the fair, so the volunteers at the registration desk will not be required to handle cash. Two volunteers are required for the desk between 9AM and 3PM on October 24; dividing this between two different shifts would be perfect ie. One shift from 9 until noon, an another from noon until 3PM. Volunteers would be required to greet attendees as they arrive, give them a day program, a door prize ballot and some basic information.
