The Vancouver Island Symphony is seeking a Volunteer Driver. This volunteer will provide transportation services to guest artists to and from their respective hotels and the Nanaimo Airport or the ferry terminals and would monitor travel arrangements, track changes in flight arrival/departure details, provide transportation for artists to and from the hotel to Nanaimo airport, assist with loading and unloading luggage and instruments as needed. Ensure timely arrival and provide a welcoming environment for artists. A valid drivers license and a clean driving record is required, as well as access to a dependable vehicle suitable for transporting people, baggage and musical instruments. This person also requires strong communication skills. This must be available one or two days per month between the hours of 9AM and 7:30PM.
