Kiwanis Lodge seeks help for the Bingo program on Wednesdays and/or Fridays at 1:30. Bingo volunteers are paired with 1 or 2 residents to help them keep up with game and add to the fun! Bingo lasts approximately 1 hour, with a snack and coffee time after; the bingo volunteer is welcome to stay for this. Volunteers for the Bingo program need the ability to hear the numbers as they are called and to read them. Patience, kindness, flexibility and comfort conversing with seniors are important qualities for a Bingo volunteer. An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by Kiwanis Lodge.
