Volunteer Coordinator
AVIVA Society is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead and support volunteers in their roles and ensure the success of the AVIVA Volunteer Program. This position is vital in fostering engagement, communication and development among AVIVA volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator(s) will oversee volunteers’ recruitment, retention and development, while ensuring alignment with AVIVA’s mission and values. This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, support an meaningful cause and make a lasting impact within the community. Required skills include leadership and organization, communication, prior experience in volunteer management.
AVIVA Concert Committee Chairperson
The Chairperson of the AVIVA Concert Committee leads the planning and execution of a specific public performance for the AVIVA Chorus. This role involves coordinating with other committees, managing event logistics, and ensuring the performance aligns with AVIVA’s mission, vision and values. Leadership experience, strong organizational and budget management skills and excellent communication abilities are required for this volunteer position. Participation in committee meetings and planning activities leading up to the performance.
HTML/Website Development Volunteer
AVIVA seeks a HTML/Website Development Volunteer to help maintain and develop portions of the website hosted on Choir Genius, a choir membership software. This volunteer would ensure the website runs smoothly and collaborate with the AVIVA Choir Genius team to design, develop and implement new website features and content. This volunteer would also update the website content and provide technical advice and recommendations to the AVIVA team.
