The Nanaimo Disability Resource Centre requires a volunteer to greet walk-in clients, answer phones, take messages, and process Parking Permit applications. This position is for 3 hours/week from 9AM to 12:30PM or from 12:30 PM to 3:30PM; Thursday AM and Friday PM shifts are currently vacant and preferred. Due to the training required, a time commitment of 6 months is required. All training is provided and there will be support staff nearby for help. This volunteer must speak English fluently, have the ability to multi-task, answer phones, and have basic computer knowledge. Office experience is preferred but is not essential.
