Canadian Blood Services needs volunteers for their monthly blood donor events. Volunteers would be in the refreshment area; this is where the donors go after donating. Volunteers watch for post-donation reactions, engage in conversation and make sue that the donors have a snack/drink before they leave. Volunteers for this position must be outgoing, have good customer service skills, like to chat and meet new people, and be 17 or older. Shifts are 2 to 2.5 hours long and will mainly take place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre, 80 Commercial St.; this may change from time to time.
