Eden Gardens is looking for two attendants for “Bistro Time” with the residents. This volunteer opportunity is from 10AM to noon every Thursday. This volunteer would be serving coffee, transporting residents to the bistro and having conversation and playing games with the residents. Good communication skills are required, as well as the abilities to work independently and as a team, to work with residents with dementia, to be comfortable with the elderly and have the ability to show compassion and empathy.
Plant Care
Eden Gardens is looking for a volunteer to assist the Horticulture Therapist with plant care. Eden Gardens has a high number of plants throughout the building, including indoor spaces, solariums and outdoor spaces. They are looking for someone able to commit to a minimum of one day per week to assist.
