Make a Wish Canada is seeking volunteers to help manage the Make-A-Wish Gear Check tent at the 5k Foam fest in Nanoose Bay May 31. Volunteer responsibilities include: taking and returning participant’s bags, tagging bags and belongings, collecting donations, and ensuring the Gear Check tent is running smoothly with limited wait times. All volunteers will be provided with snacks and water. Volunteers under the age of 13 are required to be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must sign a waiver before their shift; all volunteers are welcome to participate in the event for free after or before their shift.
