Island Crisis Care is seeking volunteers to serve as Community Elders; individuals deeply respected for their cultural, spiritual, and life wisdom. If you are someone who feels called to guide support and uplift others, is passionate about nurturing the next generation and wants to share stories, traditions and wisdom, Island Crisis Care would be honoured to hear from you. Volunteers should have patience and empathy, have good listening and conversation skills and be reliable and punctual. An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency.
