Kiwanis Village is looking for crafty and creative people to offer support during their weekly Monday morning crafting program. The Recreation team prepares each weekly creative activity, but volunteers would help support 1 or 2 Residents during the larger group. The volunteer offers as much support as is needed for the Resident to have rewarding participation. Patience, the ability to adapt conversation (ie. adjusting volume, offering simple cues, rephrasing), comfort in group settings, a friendly demeanor and willingness to help are all qualities they seek in a volunteer for the Arts and Crafts group.
