Backcountry Host
BC Parks is seeking a volunteer host at Croteau Lake in Strathcona Provincial Park. Volunteers for this position would greet park visitors and provide information about the park and surrounding area. Park hosts focus on visitor safety and etiquette and supporting the group site facilities.
There are several volunteer host positions available for one-week minimum term this summer; sorter terms may be considered if a weekend is part of the stay. Due to the remote location, there must be two adults in the hosting party. Applicants must successfully complete and electronic criminal record check. A love of the outdoors, First Aid training and current certification at OFA Level 1, with CPR is also required. For information, please call Mandy 236-478-2450
