Transportation Volunteers

NFLA is looking for transportation for the Better at Home Program.  Caring, compassionate volunteers with a Class 5 Driver’s License are needed. Mileage is paid. Seniors Housing Information and Navigational Ease Program

NFLA is looking for volunteers to assist seniors to view private rentals utilizing Facebook, Kijiji, Craigslist, etc. These volunteers may also be asked to assist in completion of the “Renting it Right” online course for seniors who may not have rental references. Volunteers must be compassionate, be computer literate, patient and informed about the current rental market and housing costs, as well as the inaccessibility of both renting and owning a come.  An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency. Food Bank Delivery Volunteers

NFLA is looking for volunteer drivers for Food Bank and grocery deliver to older adults. Compassionate people with a reliable vehicle are required.  An RCMP Criminal Record Check is required and is paid for by the agency.
