YouthNetwork Team Leaders Needed

Are you looking to gain valuable volunteer/work experience and increase your leadership skills? Come join the YouthNetwork program and help Nanaimo's youth make a difference in our community! Volunteer Nanaimo is looking for adults over the age of 19 to attend various events as a Team Leader with a group of youth between the ages of 11 and 18. The program works to actively engage, supervise, and support the youth with their volunteer work within the community and to help them to develop a lifetime commitment to service.  Last summer the youth worked with the homeless, mentored children, seniors, and helped with special events across the community.  Your involvement and commitment to the program is flexible allowing you to choose which events you wish to participate in based on your interest level and availability. All Team Leaders must provide a valid criminal record check.

For more information or to address questions about this volunteer position and our upcoming events, please contact Nicole at volunteernanaimo.youthnetwork@gmail.com
